She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Henderson Murphy and Clarence Murphy, Sr.; her daughter Wanda Michelle Shorter; and her siblings, John Edward Murphy, Clarence Murphy, Jr., Gloria Keith, Gladys Crapps, Willie Maude Clark and Mary John Stevens.
She is survived by: her son Charles Lynn Murphy; and her siblings, Bertha Williams (George) of Albany, GA, Lamar Murphy, Sr. (Sherry) of Edison, GA, Charlie Murphy (Lillie Ruth) of Dawson, GA and Oliver Murphy (Leila) of Dawson, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
