He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludie Harris and Alice Wilburn Harris; his brothers, Arthur West, Sr., Ludie Harris and Charlie B. Harris; and his daughter Ramona Qua Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Estella Knighton Harris; his children, Larry Harris, Cassandra Harris Brandful, Jimmy Harris (Teresa), Juanita Tolson (Troy), Michael L. Harris and Miranda Thomas; his goddaughter Diane Chambers; and his close friend Johnson Perry. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great[1]grandchildren.
