He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Wray Tarrant Radford and Louis Daniel Tarrant; his stepfather Albert Radford; his wife Catherine Jane Mainor Tarrant; and his brothers, Chuck Tarrant and Danny Tarrant.
He is survived by: his children, Brad Tarrant (Jennifer) of St. Johns, FL and Kelley Tarrant Barlow (Rick) of Leesburg; his sister Charlotte Tarrant Steavens (Norris) of Albany; and his grandchildren, Dakota Bruner, Bailey Tarrant, Anna Jane Tarrant, Reese Tarrant, Blake Barlow, Andrew Barlow and Julie Barlow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
