Jack Bowen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Bowen of Hull, Georgia, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Bowen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vernon Bowen and Fannie May Massey Bowen; his wife Elise Williams Bowen; his son Lamar Bowen; and his siblings, Dolly Dalton, Evelyn Meadows, Frances Trotter, Wonita Swain, Margaret Kitchens, Roy Bowen, James Bowen, Frank Bowen, Cole Bowen and Junior Bowen.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Dawson (Shane) and Laverne Toney (John); his grandchildren, Hannah Dawson, Matthew Dawson, Isaiah Patrick, Brandon Toney and Jordan Toney; his great grandchild Emberleigh Rose Dawson; and his sisters, Marie Kennedy and Ethel Brock.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (963 GA-98, Danielsville, GA 30633). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Danielsville Memorial Gardens (Sunset Cir, Danielsville, GA 30633).
