Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Whiteside and Carol Robinson Whiteside; and his sister Sheryal A. Whiteside. He is survived by: his wife Gail Mullins Whiteside; his sons, Andrew Pierce Whiteside of Sandy and Jacob "Jake" Whiteside of Dalton, GA; and his siblings, Danny (Kim Whiteside) and Darlene (Ricky Whitener). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
