She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Beard and Georgia Beard. She is survived by: her husband J. W. Scott; her sisters, Glenda Faye Beard and Mattie Lou Murphy; her son Jerry Lee Scott; her daughter-in-law Abby Scott; and her grandchildren, Harrison Lee Scott and Taylor Ann Scott (Kevin Brancheau). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
