He was predeceased by: his parents, Reno Carroll and Emily Ash Carroll; his wife Inez Virginia Carroll; and his daughters, Brenda Bredeson and Wanda Brown.

He is survived by: his children, Tony Carroll, Bobby Carroll, Gwen Ogle and Norma Huggins. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
