He is survived by: his children, Joey Dotson (Yvonne), Matt Davis (Christina) and Cindy Helton; and his sisters, Carolyn Thompson, Lavona Blackwell and Marguerite Davis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
