It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eunice McElvy Jernigan of Dalton, Georgia, born in Pelham, Georgia, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosser McElvy and Bertha Maxwell McElvy; her husband Carlos Saxon Jernigan, Jr.; and her siblings, Inman McElvy, Marcile Johnson and Virginia Ferrell.
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Robbin Jernigan), Bob (Karen Jernigan) and Kathy; her son-in-law Barry Robbins of Dalton, GA.; and her grandchildren, Sonya, Steve Jennings of Johns Creek, GA, Skyler, Jeremy Stidams of Cartersville, GA, Matt, Laura Jernigan of Clermont, GA, Stephanie, Michael Varno of Dunwoody, GA, Sarah Jernigan of Flowery Branch, GA, Michelle, Jim Lightcapp of Cartersville, GA, Jennifer Barnett of Hartwell, GA, Scarlet Robbins, Aaron Chastain of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Christopher, Lindsey Robbins of Buchanan, MI, Brandon, Kaycee Robbins of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Robbins and Julia Rosenbluth of Alexandria, VA.. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
