She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Chastain and Lois Hunt Chastain (James P. Shook); her son Chuck Shook; and her grandson Young Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Richard Shook of Rocky Face and Judy Moore (Justin) of Rocky Face; her grandson Chuck Murphy (Rebecca) of Birmingham; and her sister Doris Pendley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
