He was predeceased by: his father James Edward Gayton. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Scott Gayton; his mother Diane Gayton (Rowe); his siblings, Stacey Hopkins (Dan), Chuck Gayton, Rayburn Gayton and Tony Gayton (Karen); his aunts, Cindy Stinchcomb (Ronnie) and Helen Gayton; his uncle Kenny Rowe; his stepbrothers, Bobby Price, Ricky Price and Rodney Price; and his half-sister Michelle Gayton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
