He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Annie Odessa Holmes; his siblings, Virginia Reynolds, Walter Holmes, Jack Holmes and Barbara Payne; and his son Timothy Barrett Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Matt Holmes, Allison Chapman (Chris) and Alivia Brown; his sister Charlotte Bissell; and his grandchildren, Morgan and Emmett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
