With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Murphy L. Petty of Dallas, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Petty; his parents, Murphy Petty and Gladys Petty; and his grandson Eric Petty. He is survived by: his son David Petty (Freida); his grandson Matt Petty (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Blake and Dalton Petty.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to the Kenya Resource center supported by Burnt Hickory Baptist.
