He is survived by: his parents, Wanda Smith Williams (Smith) and Marvin Williams; his wife Susan Renee Garrett Williams; and his siblings, James Williams (Carolie) and Carrie Covington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association and the American Diabetes Association.
