She was predeceased by: her parents, Jospeh Atkins and Rosie Patterson Atkins; her husbands, Daniel Triplett and Alan L. Smith; and her son Michael Doucet.
She is survived by: her sons, Sidney Lee Smith and Bradley L. Smith; her grandchildren, Joseph, Angela Smith, Katie, Fred Johnson, Kenneth, Elizabeth Smith, Danielle, Michael Sigimondo, Candice and Jason Ward; and her sisters, Katherine Powers, Dorothy Barnwell and Betty Jo Etheridge. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
