He was predeceased by: his father Joe Fowler; and his brothers, Junior Fowler and Eddie Fowler. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Wilkes (Paul) and Mark Fowler (Martina); his grandchildren, Taylor Baxter, Jacob Baxter (Lonna), Curtis Wilkes (Hannah), Emily Wilkes and Cianna Fowler; his great grandchildren, Henry Baxter, Owen Baxter and Maisie Baxter; and his sister Lou Dale Jernigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.
