He is survived by: his son David Scott Stamper of Kentucky; his close friend Delores Conkey of Stafford; his sister Madonna Turpin (Hal) of Temple, Georgia; and his uncle Tommy McMurtry (Shirley) of Calvert City, Kentucky. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and two great-great nieces.
