He was predeceased by: his brother Edgar Franklin; and his son-in-law Lonnie Holcombe. He is survived by: his wife Cathryn Tullis Franklin; his children, Angelia Holcombe of Dacula, Kathy Bennett (Carl) of Lawrenceville and Randy Franklin II (Lynn) of Winder Georgia; his grandchildren, Christy Pence (Johnny) of Bethlehem, Stacy Heng (Sam) of Statham, Matthew Holcombe (Lisa) of Monroe, Amber Wickham (Gary) of Suwanee, Amanda Harp (Jesse) of Bethlehem, Mona Bennett Johnson of Lawrenceville and Jeremy Bennett of Buford; and his sister Evelyn Maitre Whitted (Wayne) of Woodstock. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild.
In Lieu of flowers & food, donations may be made in honor of Mr. Franklin to Ebenezer Baptist Church.
