She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Griffin and Ethel Clenney Sanderlin; and her husband Edwin "Ed" Herschel Thompson, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Edwin H. Thompson, Jr. (Teenie) of Cornelia, GA and Charles Ted Thompson (Veronica) of Dawson; and her brother Charles Walter Sanderlin (Vangie) of Americus. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
