He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Yarbrough Hester of Cuthbert; his sons, John Michael Hester (Sharon) of Treasure Island, FL and Stephen Barry (Mary) of Cuthbert; his brother David Daniel Hester (Cassandra) of Rockvale, TN; his grandchildren, Mindy Lynn Hester Brooks of Bradenton, FL and Michael Gray Hester of Bradenton, FL; and his great grandchild Nadia Michelle Brooks of Tampa, FL..
