She was predeceased by: her husband E. W. McConnell; her son-in-law Toy Tallant; her parents, Gordon Sosebee and Myrtle Tribble Sosebee; her parents-in-law, W. N. and Katie Ruddell McConnell; her brother Lawton; her siblings-in-law, Miriam Sosebee, Frank Gramling and Arter Watkins; her niece Judy Sosebee Blackburn; and her siblings-in-law, James and Emma Lou McConnell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice McConnell Tallant and Hazel; her son-in-law Nolan Floyd; her grandchildren, Leigh Anne Hawkins (Jason), Jared Floyd (Mitzi) and Nalanna Palmer (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Scarlett Palmer, Ellie and Austin Floyd; her grandchildren, Mike Vinson, Devin Waters, Madison, Colyn, Haidyn, Evan and Haley Palmer; and her sisters, Bonnie Gramling, Ozell Watkins and Iola Gramling (Cecil). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
