She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Cruz and Aura Cruz. She is survived by: her husband Willard Byers; her daughters, Anita Byers Feliciano (Tony) and Angela Byers Jackson (Ron); and her sisters, LaLa, Teresa, Libby and Aurita.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Kidney Fund in honor of Lumie's fight against kidney disease.
