He is survived by: his wife Virginia Etheridge; his son Ross; his daughter-in-law Allison Etheridge of Richmond Hill; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Philip Duvall of Calhoun; his sister-in-law Sylvia Etheridge of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Lily Etheridge, Max Etheridge, Zane Duvall, Paige Duvall and Savannah Duvall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I miss my good friend Jim. We service onboard the USS Noble in the navy where we first met. After discharge we lost contact and then through the USS Noble alumni we reconnected via email and it was a great time with Jim and his family. Jim and I both went on to college, and had a successful like with grandkids and all. I don’t know how we became such good friends.. I wish I could connect with his children as I lost contact after his death. Ray and Roxie Holm email: [email protected].”
