She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene and Binnie Lou Charping Prater; her husband Jack Gibbs; and her sons, William Craig Gibbs and Brian Keith Gibbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne; her son-in-law Bill Means of Covington; her grandchildren, Lauren (Matt Fyock) of Atlanta and John (Mia Means) of Covington; and her great grandchildren, James Wylder Means of Covington and Livia Tatum Means of Covington.
