He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Humphries and Thelma Ousley Humphries. He is survived by: his wife Ruby L. Humphries; his daughters, Debbie Sweat (Ronald), Carla Bruce (Scott), Billie Powell (Chris), Johnnie Ivey (Clay) and Tonya Owens (David); and his sister Yvonne Beasley (Felton). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
