He was predeceased by: his parents, Idus Grady and Hattie Mae Gilbert Lawson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jil Gowens of Gainesville, Amanda and Christina Lawson of Monroe; his grandchildren, Tyler Gowens, Lacey Gowens and Kolton Anderson; and his great grandchildren, R. J. Gowens and Kasyn Burdett. He is also survived by several other family members and close friends.
