She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Mary Alice Cofer Cooper; and her brother Jackie Leon Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Aaron L. Smith; her children, Charlena Ann (Ashley Raines, III) of Covington, Tara D. (Michelle Smith) of Covington and Matthew L. Smith of Covington; her grandchildren, Ashley Raines, IV of Covington and Mina Raines of Covington; her siblings, Linda Elumbaugh of Covington and Johnny; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Cooper of Conyers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
