He is survived by: his wife Lavern Smith Burke; his children, Marsha Duffy (John), Patricia Burke Dawson (Roger), Junior Burke (Chinnet) and Neika Burke; his siblings, Millicent Burke, Peter Burke (Jennifer), Billie Burke, Hyacinth Drake, John Burke, Delta Jackson (Billie), Ellis Burke, Leroy Burke and Veronica Burke; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Alison, Keira, Denisha, Kemoi, Matthew, Ethan and Eric; and his pet Sochi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
