He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tyndall and Clora Campbell Tyndall Layfield; his brothers, Paul Tyndall, Doyle Tyndall and Jerry Layfield; and his stepbrothers, Eric Tyndall and Frank Tyndall.
He is survived by: his wife Vida Lois Tyndall of Covington; and his children, Rickey (Kimberly Tyndall), Dawn (Eddie Bourdonnay), Jimmy (Jennifer Cheek) and Steve Tyndall of Covington. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings and their spouses.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus recommendation, the family will hold a service at the funeral home at a later date.
