She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Eugene Edwards, Sr. (Happy); her parents, James F. Hopkins and Fannie Hopkins; and her siblings, James Hopkins, George Hopkins and Francis Bledsoe.
She is survived by: her son Wallace; her daughter-in-law Susan Edwards, Jr. of Newborn; her daughters, Cathy (Charlie Allen) and Claudia (Kenneth Hall); her grandchildren, Britt Allen, Leslie Hall, Olivia (Keith Adams), Amanda (Marcus Guy), Georgia (John Hill) and Joel (Brittney Edwards); her great grandchildren, Abbigail, Maddilyn, Sam, Kate, Blake, Gabe, Cooper, Cayden, Jake, Luke, Worth and Wyatt; her great great grandchild Blakely; her brother Bobby; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Hopkins of Covington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
