It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Herrin of Cornelia, Georgia, born in Homer, Georgia, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Cochran and Mabel Carter Cochran; her husband Jesse Perry Herrin; and her siblings, Margaret Maney, Eloise Shirley, Joann Cochran, Jewell, Harold of Bobby, W. O., Theron and Wilton Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Herrin of Cornelia, Randy Herrin (Janice) of Cornelia and Rodney Herrin (Kelley) of Cornelia; her grandchildren, Jonathan Herrin (Emily) of Clarkesville, Jessi Herrin of Cornelia and Sam Herrin of Auburn, GA; her great grandchildren, Hamp, Price and Bennett Herrin; and her siblings, BJ Bohler of Snellville, Laverne Walls of Greenville and Swayne Cochran (Sue) of Lula. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
