He is survived by: his wife Judy Parker Porter of Cornelia; his children, Adam Porter of Cornelia, Jake Porter (Jennifer) of Clarkesville, John David Porter (Carla) of Cleveland and Amy Kinney (Heath) of Mt. Airy; his grandchildren, Lindsey Wood, Ayden, Easton Brooksher, Sutton, Reece, Maggie and Ellie Kate Porter; his great grandchildren, Luke, Kreed and Gatlin Wood; and his siblings, Tommy Porter (Lassie) of Demorest and Jane Barden of Cornelia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
