She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Elma Smith; her husband Edmundo Vega; and her daughter Sheila Maria Silva. She is survived by: her children, Vicky McCreary (Glenn), Carmen Mayo (late Larry), Juanito Vega (Diana), Anita Vega-Paige (James), Sonya Robinson (Joseph), Antonio Vega (Maria) and John Vega (Brenda); and her sisters, Nadine Brown, Sonya Squires and Dina Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
