She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen Powell Johnson and Felicia Powell Hardnett (Charles); her grandchildren, Jasmine Christina Johnson, Erin Aliah Hardnett and Charles Ryan Hardnett, Jr.; and her sister Lizzie B. Lofton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
