He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Channell and Rubye Channell of White Plains, GA.; his wife Martha; his brother Tom Channell; and his son Marvin Fred Channell.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Ray (Dan), Jane Davis (Clint) and Ray Channell, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brittany Norton (Allen), Meredith Ray, Joshua Davis (Tanya) and Cody Davis; and his great grandchildren, Macie, Mason Norton and Gideon Davis.
