With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Inez Greene of Conyers, Georgia, who passed away on April 2, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Greene, Sr.; her parents, Willie Benbow (Levi) and Ada Benbow (Bember); her daughters, Inez Elizabeth Verret-Boyd and Dolores Lee Greene-Williams; and her siblings, Irene Simmons (Henry), Florine Green (Roosevelt) and Eugene Benbow (Bember).
She is survived by: her children, Doris Ann Greene-Curry (Charles) of Conyers, GA., Shirley Mae Greene-Rawls (Curtis) of Arlington, TX., Leon Greene, Jr. of Bridgeport, CT. and Rev. Benjamin Greene (Yvonne) of Norwich, CT.; her brother Gerthel Benbow (Bember) of Fairfield, CT.; and her sister-in-law Ruth Benbow (Bember) of Cibolo, TX.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
