She was predeceased by: her parents, William Grady and Zadie Mae Kidd Smith; and her husband R. F. Doster. She is survived by: her children, John Paul King of Washington State and Joan King Garner; and her cousin Linda Graham (Ned). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
