It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Gwendolyn Parker Benton Stewart of Comer, Georgia, born in Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Minton Parker and Naomi Sadie Walker Parker; her husbands, Gerald Allen Benton and Brian Keith Stewart; and her son Gregory Benton.
She is survived by: her children, Geneva Moore of Carlton, Ginger Bramlett of Monroe and Gerald Benton of Royston. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
