He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jackson Trusty and Mary Etta Southards Trusty; his wife Wilma Cannon Trusty; his son Jack Trusty; and his half-siblings, Dorothy Buttermore, Frankie Shoup of Virginia and Clyde Maples.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Trusty (Pam), Richard Trusty (Cori), Dale Trusty, Dedra Vinson (Jeff) and Jill Schenden; and his brother Glenn Trusty (Donna). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in memory of Paul Trusty.
