It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Monteen Stockton of Clayton, Georgia, born in Lakemont, Georgia, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Wall and Savannah Page Wall; her husband Larry Stockton; and her siblings, Harold Wall, Calvin Wall, Eugene Wall, Billy Wall, Reed Wall, Myrtice Roach, Ruby Nell Parker and Patsy McCrackin.
She is survived by: her sister Maxine Wall Southards; her children, Llyod R Mckay, Claudette, Aubrey Woods, Cathie Eidson and Lucille Schmalix (Todd Stiles); her stepchildren, Roger Stockton, Randy Stockton and Alicia Morris; her siblings-in-law, Brenda Bowers (Sam) and William McCrackin; and her grandchildren, Michelle Hopkins (Doug), Alyssa Mullins, Leslie McDonald, Ryan Williamson (Georgia), Shawn Mckay (Rebecca) and Lindsay Schmalix. She is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren, and one great- great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
