He is survived by: his wife Kemper Holt Hosford of Chester; his children, James O. "Buddy" Hosford, Jr. (Emily) of Chester, Phillip Hosford (Brenda) of Chester and Kathy Rogers (James) of Chester; his siblings, Carl Hosford (Joy) of Chester and Imogene Hosford Mullis of Cochran; his grandchildren, Kellie Braswell (Cam) of Chester, Brett Hosford of Chester, Collin Wimberly of Cochran, Cherry Hooks of Cochran, Brad Wright of Dexter and James Williams (Brandi) of Eastman; and his great grandchildren, Connor Braswell, Karsyn Braswell, Addie Wimberly, Ralie Conley, Brodie Nettles, Bristol Nettles, Gracie Wright, Olwynn Williams and Morgan Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
