He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Faun Wolfe; and his wife Shirley Truett Edwards. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Rachel Mullis (David) and Billy "Jerry" Allen, Jr. (Terri) of Chester; his grandchildren, Drew Mullis (Kayley), Matt Mullis, Justin Mullis, Rina Allen, Gage Allen, Jeremy Mullis, Jacob Mullis and Tiffani Mullis; his great grandchildren, Hunter Hinson, Sara Beth Mullis, Marlie Mullis, Tuff Mullis, Tucker Mullis, Jaxson Mullis and Bryna Grace Mullis; and his siblings, Geraldine McFarland of Kannapolis, NC, Marietta Reed of Round Rock, TX, Jonnie Kendall of Kokomo, IN, Pat Dorsey of Austin, TX, Richard Copeland of Santa Barbara, CA and Robert Copeland of Atlanta.
