Alice Walker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Walker (Chester, Georgia), who passed away on June 29, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Buddy" Walker; and her siblings, Myrtle Lee Childers, Richard Childers and Harry Childers. She is survived by: her children, Jessica Paul (Buck) of Chester and Chris Chavis (Amanda) of Rockledge; her siblings, Avis Alligood (Carroll) of Dublin, Ottis Childers (Betty) of Dublin, Clarence Childers (Pam) of Dublin and Arthur Childers of Dublin; her grandchildren, Brandy Smith (Michael) of Cochran, Laura Chavis of Dublin, Haley Brown and Colby Chavis; and her great grandchild Jaley Smith of Cochran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
