It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Carl Smith of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Smith and Marie Smith; his siblings-in-law, Eugene and Barbara Tilley; and his granddaughter Jana Smith.
He is survived by: his pet Precious; his wife Claudette Smith of Chatsworth; his sons, Keith, Robin Smith, Duane and Jan Smith of Chatsworth; his brothers, Lynn (Deb Smith) and Danny (Deena Smith); his grandchildren, Noah Smith, Emily Smith, Jacob, Anna Smith, Amanda Stewart, TJ Stewart, Devin Pugh and Caleb Lavoie; and his great grandchildren, Adysen Poznanski, Asher Stewart, Larkin Stewart and Grace Lanham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Holly Creek Baptist Choir or The Gideons.
