She was predeceased by: her parent Opal Taylor; her stepfather Jack Showers; her son Lawrence Roberts; her brother Danny Messer; her sister-in-law Kimberly Showers; her sister Jill Holcomb; and her brother-in-law Kevin Holcomb.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Roberts (Misti) and Tasha; her grandchildren, Zachary Nelson, Tim Roberts Jr., Johnathan Roberts, Bertie Birmingham IV, Trinity Roberts, Jocelyn Birmingham, Ethan Birmingham and Allison Birmingham; and her siblings, David Messer (Vera), Tonya Prince and Jack Showers Jr.. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
