It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Abernathy of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Abernathy; her parents, Hubert Waldrop and Ola Mae Waldrop; and her son-in-law Robert Fowler. She is survived by: her children, Melva Fowler, Teri Jones (Rex) and Tony Abernathy; her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Derek Smith, Nathan Jones and Tori Abernathy; and her great grandchildren, Jarrett Smith, Cole Smith, Ivy Smith and Wyatt Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
