He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brown and Carolyn Brown; his granddaughter Angel Taylor; his siblings, David, George, Elmer, Fred Brown, Ruth Cross, Louise Lawson and Katherine Brown; and his sons-in-law, Ronnie Owens and Otis Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Brock Brown; his children, Delinda Owens (William Tussing), Barbara Worth (William), Abigail Silvers (Timothy), Elaine Brown and Vivian Wolfe (Robbie); his siblings, Frank (Charlene Brown), Richard (Vickie Brown), Randy (Lilly Brown), Ernest (Linda Brown), Joe (Becky Brown) and Carolyn (Pinkie); and his siblings-in-law, Betty, Jim Crawford, Syble Pendergrass, Ben Burgess and Winnie Brock. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
