He is survived by: his children, Ashton Drew Knox, Annberly Knox and Hunter Knox (Kim); his mother Virginia Ann Knox; his siblings, Alvin Lee Knox Jr. (Susan) and Annette "Sissy" Rider (Todd); his grandchildren, Ava, Ivy and Koen Knox; his close friend Derinda Killian; and his friend Paula Tucker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
