She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Leonard Ellis and Pearl Dixon Ellis; and her former husbands, Audlee Sosebee Brothers Roy, Lawson, Edward Ray, Leonard Lee and R. L. Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Dean McGill of Chatsworth, GA; her children, Tina (Brian Porter), Angela (Jason Pierce) and Jonathan; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Sosebee of Chatsworth, GA; her sister Essie; her brother-in-law Steve Ware of Chatsworth, GA; and her brothers, Tony Ellis, Jimmy (Tammy Ellis) and Steve (Lisa Ellis). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
