It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Marvin Quarles of Chatsworth, Georgia, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Quarles and Bertha Quarles; and his siblings, William "Bill" Quarles, Lois Hall and Jessie Howard.

He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Robinson, Ruth Steelman and Willie Mae Quarles; and his friend Marvin. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
